The snow is deep, the skiing fine
But you can't just rip any old line.
You've got to choose and be wise,
'Cause 'lanches happen of great size.
They rush down mountains and swallow you up,
They even could tip over your pickup truck.
So be safe out there, travel with care,
And remember that feeling of summer night air.
If you want to ski, I will ski with you,
My favorite time is when the sky is blue.
If you come with me I will show you what I know,
And we will wear suntan lotion, 'cause the reflection off the snow.
There are places out there and not to far,
Where you can't even hear the sound of a car.
The quiet of winter will calm your head,
And you will feel a rolling motion lying in your bed.
Skiing's not extreme, it's more like flying,
If you haven't skied the San Juans yet, it's certainly worth trying.
